Understanding Skeletal Dysplasias
Ready to banish that feeling of panic when you see an unexpected skeletal abnormality in an anatomic survey—especially when the patient has had an otherwise, completely uncomplicated pregnancy? Join mentor Christina for a journey to clarity and confidence when it comes to assessing fetal skeletal dysplasias. In this dynamic course, we'll explore everything from historical background to the current breakthroughs reshaping the field! We'll focus on how a comprehensive imaging assessment can make all the difference in pregnancy management, even when the exact underlying diagnosis is unclear. Most importantly, we'll cover how you, the sonographer, can perform the most thorough evaluation, and answer the critical questions in these conditions regarding prognosis, outlook, and expectancy!
