Beyond the Anatomy Scan: When Prenatal Detection Optimizes Outcomes

This FREE CME-accredited course, sponsored by BB Imaging, highlights the critical impact of prenatal detection on fetal and neonatal outcomes. Through real-world cases, this course explores how early recognition of fetal anomalies—from congenital heart defects to neural tube defects—enables timely fetal or neonatal interventions, fetal surgery, targeted therapies, and specialized medical management. Sonographers play a pivotal role in this process, serving as the first line of detection in ensuring that patients are referred to fetal centers and multidisciplinary teams for life-changing care. Whether identifying subtle structural variations or complex multisystem abnormalities, the skill and precision of sonographers directly influence perinatal survival, treatment options, and long-term neonatal health. This course provides the knowledge and confidence to refine your practice, enhance patient outcomes, and earn CME credits while reinforcing the vital role of sonographers in fetal medicine. Join us and see how your expertise can change lives.
